EVENT SPOTLIGHT

NCSPP INTENSIVE STUDY GROUPS

East Bay & San Francisco: This year's ISG ponders, "Erotics and Intimacies: How Do We Think About Sex?" Would you like to know more about sexuality in couple's work? Erotic transferences? The body and sexuality? The answers to these questions and more are forthcoming in this year's ISGs. Drs. Wolff-Bernstein, Conger, Gerson, and Nathans in Berkeley, and Drs. Leavitt, Gonzalez, Chassay, and Wideman in SF, will lead lively discussions addressing sex and clinical work.

Peninsula/South Bay: This year's ISG reflects on, "Thinking Awake: New Perspectives on the Clinical Hour," led by four outstanding faculty members, each bringing their unique perspective to the question of what takes place in the therapist's mind during a session. Join Drs. Hugh Grubb, Francisco Gonzales, Angela Sowa, and Julie Gerhardt for a rich, in-depth exploration of both conscious and unconscious processes giving shape to the clinical hour.
