The Pre-licensed Clinician Members Committee focuses on outreach to Bay Area psychology students and brings NCSPP-affiliated psychologists to local graduate schools. The committee focuses on supporting professional development, as well as fostering community-building and networking among the next generation of psychoanalytic psychotherapists.

FALL MOVIE MATINEE - Phantom Thread

Course Overview: 

Join the PLC and Dr. Milena Edwards for a screening and discussion of the Oscar-nominated film Phantom Thread, a period piece set in 1950s London that follows an artist’s complicated romantic and family relationships. Following the screening, Dr. Milena Edwards will discuss the film through a psychoanalytic lens. Popcorn will be served.

Instructor(s): 

Milena Edwards, Psy.D., has spent her career focusing on issues of female identity from early adulthood to navigating choices around work, family, and partnerships. Dr. Edwards is the Director of Training at Access Institute and has a private practicein Oakland.
