NCSPP Scholarship Drive

Greetings NCSPP Community,

I'd like to invite you to make a generous contribution to NCSPP's annual scholarship drive to ensure that we create meaningful and real access to our events, our courses, and our community.

Please consider donating the cost of one of your sessions, or  any amount that is significant for you, and DONATE NOW

100% of your tax-deductible donation will directly benefit a person who is passionate about psychoanalytic thinking and its clinical applications, yet is unable to participate due to financial barriers. Our scholarship recipients are often graduate students in training, early career clinicians, and therapists who work in community mental health settings. Their unique perspectives and contributions to our field are extremely valuable, and it is part of our mission to include them.

In 2017, we received seven scholarship requests. All 7 of them were granted the full scholarship rate. That means that 7 people (both members of NCSPP and non-members as the scholarship funds are available to all) have been able to access learning and be more active in our community because of donations from people like you. We look forward to saying "Yes" to even more requests next year.

Our goal is to raise at least $3,000 by the end of the year, and I know we can make this happen. (All of your donations to the NCSPP Scholarship Fund are reserved for this purpose and are not used in other ways; and these funds also roll over from year to year to ensure a growing resources for those who need this help). NCSPP has an important, amazing, collective history in the Bay Area and continues to be the largest DIV. 39 chapter in the U.S. We proudly strive to make ourselves and our programs as accessible as possible and to encourage inclusiveness, participation, and involvement in the psychoanalytic community.

We thank you for joining us in that effort.

With gratitude,
Stephanie King, Psy.D.
