On July 1 the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute & Society and its supporting organization, the San Francisco Foundation for Psychoanalysis, will merge and become the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
ANALYTIC GROUP THERAPY - BEGINNING AUGUST 2007: Analytic group therapy is an opportunity for a group relational experience that may be adjunctive to individual analysis or an independent treatment modality that offers both analytic experience and group support. This analytic group would be useful to persons working with shame, isolation, relational anxieties, trauma and depression. Each applicant will be interviewed at least once to determine appropriateness. The fee is on a sliding scale: $60 - $100 for a 90 minute session. Group Leader: Sue Saperstein, MFT, Psy.D. CASE CONFERENCE: Listening for Transference is for clinicians developed in practicing psychoanalytic psychotherapy who want to improve their ability to perceive and work with transference.
