The Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology is the local chapter of Division 39, American Psychological Association. NCSPP is committed to the study of psychoanalytic psychology and the encouragement of its interests in the professional and general communities. It is a multi-disciplinary, nonprofit educational membership organization open to all mental health professionals. The Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC), an International Psychoanalytic Association Provisional Society, was established in 1989 as a center for comparative psychoanalytic inquiry, research and training. PINC provides professionals from all mental health disciplines the opportunity to study the full scope of psychoanalytic theory and practice.
