Policies

Class Size and Eligibility for Enrollment
Course size for multi-week courses, workshops and intensive study groups is limited to approximately 15 participants. Minimum class size will be 6 to 8 participants. Courses that do not fill will be cancelled and payment refunded. In filling courses, priority will be given to members/associate members of NCSPP. Enrollment is intended for mental health practitioners, students, and interns, as well as others interested in the study of psychoanalytic psychology.

Locations and Readers
For those classes where location is listed as TBA (to be announced), information on location will be updated online at ncspp.org, and emailed to enrolled participants approximately two weeks before the first meeting. Tuition does not include the cost of readers.

Cancellation
Enrollees who cancel at least seven days prior to the workshop date or the first class of a multi-week course will receive a refund minus a $25 administrative charge. Enrollees who cancel at least seven days prior to the first meeting of an intensive study group will receive a refund minus a $100 administrative charge. No refunds will be allowed after this time.

Returned Checks
There will be a $25 bank charge and an additional $15 administrative charge on all returned checks.

Disabilities
Participants with disabilities will be accommodated whenever possible. Applicants with special needs should contact Michele McGuinness via email or by phone at 415.457.9949 as soon as possible prior to the event so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Privacy and Confidentiality
All participants are asked to be aware of the need for privacy and confidentiality throughout all programs.

Participant Concerns
Participants are encouraged, if program content becomes stressful, to process these feelings during discussion periods. Participant concerns about program matters can be addressed to the chair of the committee sponsoring the program.

CE Credits
NCSPP offers CE credits for most of its educational programs. Participant concerns about CE matters can be addressed to Beth Steinberg, Ph.D., Director of Continuing Education of NCSPP.
